MUST VISIT: Albus Cavus Mural Jam DC Sat Aug 15th

August 15, 2009
This is a must visit event. Albus Cavus (HERE) has put together a historic mural project/jam. View more info below::
Info Via WoosterCollective.com (HERE)

If you’re in Washington DC this weekend, be sure to head along Metro’s Red Line to the Rhode Island Avenue station and check out a massive 500 feet long wall that’s being turned into the largest mural of its kind in the city.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., more than 100 artists will add to it at a mural jam. The public is invited to help paint and enjoy live music, DJs, food and activities for kids.

The jam is sponsored by the D.C. government and the nonprofit group Albus Cavus, which aims to beautify neighborhoods by creating works of art.

Rhode Island Avenue Shopping Center, 680 Rhode Island Ave. NE (Metro: Rhode Island).
