I am excited to share an exclusive interview with Matthew James (HERE). The interview covers some new details on some future projects, art advice, and my love for sneakers among other topics. Check out the entire interview below!!!
Below are a couple of recent process photos of some of the larger pieces that I have been working on. You can see some of the layers and textures that I am developing inside each canvas. Each area on the canvas has a new and unique story. Typically each painting has an average of 10 different types of paper from all across the globe.
Stay posted for more progress photos and detailed shots!!
I have teamed up with Choke Urban Creation (HERE), a great new company from Germany to bring you a fantastic new product. It is great to see artists take major artistic leaps where you see the artists take on new subject matter in which you see a major jump in quality and style progression in the process. Scotch is a great example of this and I am excited to have him be part of the Friends With Knives Show Opening this Saturday night August 7th @ Crewest Gallery. Check out more from Scotch below and be sure to catch this amazing stencil group show opening this Saturday.

PaperMonster Ate That Little Boy
PaperMonster Solo Show
Vincent Michael Gallery is proud to present ‘PaperMonster Ate That Little Boy.’ A solo exhibition featuring prolific stencil artist, PaperMonster. The exhibition is on display from July 2nd to July 31st. In honor of PaperMonster’s solo exhibition, Vincent Michael Gallery will be hosting an opening reception Friday, July 2nd from 6pm to 9pm.
To highlight PaperMonster’s personal and artistic growth over the past few years, it was only fitting his solo exhibition with Vincent Michael Gallery be titled ‘PaperMonster Ate That Little Boy.’ PaperMonster’s current oeuvre has taken his signature female images and infused each piece with greater depth, meaning and emotive expression. Each piece is a beautiful combination of layered imagery, textures and colors conveying themes of love, anger, fear, passion and mystery. Several portraits are layered images of women and powerful animals; speaking to the strength, ferocity and power that each women carries within. By continually developing his distinct use of collage, PaperMonster has taken his striking ability to explore facial expressions to new levels.
