Guess who got a new camera for his Birthday? ME!!
I have been cutting a bunch of these tiny beautiful flowers for many of the new paintings experimenting with different types of papers and effects.
I ran into this gem of paper while creating the collage work for a new piece.

Malboro Middle School Stencil Art Project!!

December 23, 2009
One of the most rewarding parts about being an artist is meeting someone at a show or getting an email that simply says “Thank you for being an inspiration.” Recently Ms. Chaplinski from Marlboro Middle School in NJ sent over these photos of her arts students’ completed stencil art project inspired by my artwork. I love how the children put this project together and I think the finished paintings are fantastic!! They did a great job!! See for yourself below and click on the images to view larger.
Congrats to Ms. Chaplinski’s Students for an AMAZING Job!!
Thank you with all my heart.

Painting With A Hand Brush??

September 2, 2009
Leslie Granda-Hill (HERE) sent over some beautiful photos of lasts weeks panting session in Trenton, NJ. These are by far my favorite photos. In the first picture you can see my technique of using my hand as a paint brush. I use my hands to paint, paste, and spray my stencils on canvas so it is something I feel comfortable doing on a wall, eventhough the washing my hands part is not fun when there is no running water around. PHOTOS: Progress

June 12, 2009
Being sick last week gave me some time to think and start working on some new exciting stencils for several group shows this summer. One of the most fun parts of what I do is working on the collages within each painting and I can’t explain what I mess I make but in the end some really nice things come out of the chaos and back pain. Check out some detail shots of what I have been working on::
