May is here which means summer is just around the corner! This month’s PaperMonster favorite things cover some new games including Super Mario Galaxy 2, Red Dead Redemption, my favorite sneakers this month, great new music and a movie you MUST watch this summer!! Nike must read my mind or be a huge fan of my paintings because I have been in love with every blue/teal shoe they have released this year and I have purchased every single one. Above is the Nike RT1. I posted about the RT1s before and this has become one of my favorite shoe concepts almost at the level of my love for Nike Dunk Highs. Now you may not recognize these images above and below but that is Mario in some of his newest costumes for Super Mario Galaxy 2 releasing May 23!! I am really excited to see what other suprizes Nintendo in this game as more details continue to be released in the next coming weeks. Did you know you could use Yoshi in the game as well?!! YES! Mario Galaxy 2 is not the only amazing game being released this May. Red Dead Redemption (HERE) hits shelves this month and this game is one word: GIGANTIC! Rockstar Games, the makers of the Grand Theft Auto series have put together what could possibly be one of the best games this year. You have to check out the video below to see how beautiful and massive the game is. You will not want to miss out on this experience. Also the multiplayer is just mind blowing. Check out the video below:

Lastly, IRON MAN 2 is an awesome movie. It released this weekend and most likely broke some sort of box office record. There is something about this movie that just makes we want to create some new gadjet or try something new. Hopefully you will have the opportunity to check it out in a theater near you. Check out the clip below of the amazing briefcase power suit.

PaperMonster’s Favorite Things December

I recently received an email that basically said “Ay PaperMonster. Where the hell are your favorite things for December?” In the chaos of Art Basel photos I completely forgot to post my favorite things for this month and now here they are right in the middle of all this holiday celebration. First I have the videogame Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (HERE). If you follow me on Twitter (HERE) you know that I have been watching gameplay videos of this game and I am blown away. It has won several Game Of The Year awards and it deserves it. Catch a clip of the gameplay below. You will not regret playing full price for this game with everything you get in return. Following Uncharted 2 we have the Clipse new album “Til The Casket Drops.” I have been anticipating this album and could not be happier with it. There are so many tracks that just blow your mind in terms of quality music. Check out some of my favorite tracks from the album below and don’t forget to check out the album artwork by Kaws. Right After the clipse we have the cheapest gift you can get your loved one.The Pencil Crossbow (HERE) !! All you need is a couple of pencils and rubber bands and you can make your very own functional crossbow. Lastly we have the gift that keeps on giving.: HD video of Iron Man 2 (HERE).
