Photos: DRAW Group Show (Shooting Gallery) feat PaperMonster

April 14, 2009
————————————–
The “Draw” show was this past weekend over at the Shooting Gallery in SF. The tough part about being halfway across the country is that you wish you could make it to every single show but most times you can not. I was able to find some great photos from Creep Machine (HERE) and Karen O’s Blog (HERE) both of which had great shots from the massive show. The drawings ran from the floor to the ceiling and if you have not had a chance to stop by make sure to do so. Check out some images below:::::

INSPIRATION: Pose2/Mr. Max Moses

April 2, 2009

————————–

As artists we all are fans or look up to certain people/artists as role models or great friends. We obtain inspiration from words, music, and our visual surroundings. Through each painting we learn and grow and feed off each others creativity. Certain people make you want to push further and take your work to that next level not for money or fame and for me Pose2 (Mr. Max Moses) is one of the many artists that has had a major impact on my art and my drive to continue to paint. Check out this fantastic video below on Pose2. He really breaks it down at that 15min mark.
