Choke Urban Creation: Urban Art Umbrellas

PaperMonster (USA) , A1one (Tehran), and Cabiao (Buenos Aires) have collaborated with Choke Urban Creation (Germany) on a set of artist designed umbrellas. Each umbrella comes in an artist designed box and features a one button auto-open/close feature with an aluminum shaft and fiberglass ribs. These umbrellas are unlike anything you will see outdoors and truly make a powerful and beautiful statement.

This past weekend was the opening of Beyond Eden 2010, an art fair that brings together some of the West Coast’s top art galleries under one roof. PHOTOS: PaperMonster Artist Talk @VMGallery July 2010

This past weekend I had the pleasure of giving an artist talk during my solo show “PaperMonster Ate That Little Boy” at Vincent Michael Gallery in Philadelphia. During the talk I covered details about my first stencils, evolution of my work, future project, and work within the solo show. Art Whino x TAGUR (custom shoe images) Aug 2nd feat PaperMonster (Huge Show!!)

Make sure to mark you calendars for what will be a massive showing over at Art Whino (www.artwhino.com) on August 2nd from 6pm to midnight. The show is in collaboration with TAGUR and each artist was given one blank TAGUR sneaker to customize. In addition, each artist was also asked to create one original canvas piece to go along with the shoe for the show. The amount of artist in attendance will be legendary and you can check out the list below on the flyer for the show. If you are in the area it is a show that you can not miss and if you are out of town it is surely a show you want to drive down to. There are some incredibly exciting things all coming in August!!! While there are two solo shows coming in September and October, PaperMonster will be taking part in the 2008 Melbourne Stencil Festival (www.stencilfestival.com) in Melbourne, Australia and the i am 8-bit show (www.iam8bit.net) in California both taking place in August. Check out a sneak previews of two pieces for the i am 8-bit below. Also Art Whino Gallery and TAGUR (www.tagur.com) are putting together a very exciting show incorporating beautiful art and custom shoes. PaperMonster will be creating a custom shoe for the show and it is looking to be beautiful.

PaperMonster Solo Show Preview Pics!!

————————————————A lot of exciting things are going on and I wanted to post some very sneaky preview images of some things which I have been working on. First up to bat is the PaperMonster solo show for DirtyPilot.com. It will be an amazing solo show with a huge range of pieces on basically every surface imaginable except for polar bear skin.
